Sun-EL Musician and Thatohatsi link up on a fresh Afro-house record called “Sifikile.”
The single doubles as the official soundtrack for SHOPFEST 2026. It pairs melodic synth patterns with electronic rhythms, while Thatohatsi’s rich vocal delivery adds warmth and emotion to the production. The result carries an energetic Afro-house atmosphere built for the event it represents.
This is not their first time working together. Both artists appeared alongside Kenza and Jnr SA on “Angeke,” a track from Sun-EL Musician’s fourth studio album, Under The Sun, released in February 2026. That earlier link-up gives “Sifikile” a bit of history behind it.
For Sun-EL Musician, the record adds another entry to a catalogue shaped by his distinctive approach to Afro-house. Thatohatsi, meanwhile, gets another platform to show what her voice can do over electronic production. The soundtrack slot also puts the song in front of an audience beyond the usual playlist crowd.
