Kaestyle keeps building out his debut album with “Dey Go,” the twelfth track on the 15-song project “Stylish.”
The song sits in the Afropop half of the album, which splits into two clear sections. The first eight tracks lean into R&B, while the back end switches things up. The project came out through KeyQaad.
Kaestyle handled the record as singer, songwriter and producer, the same triple role he has carried through much of his work. Anyone who has followed his run will tell you the man is known for exactly that. He writes, produces and sings his own material without needing a crowd of credits behind him.
On “Dey Go,” that self-contained approach is the whole point. It is an Afropop cut built around his smooth vocals and melody-first songwriting. The track lands in a spot on the tracklist where the album has already shifted gears.
That range traces back to Port Harcourt, where he grew up on the golden era of R&B and started out expressing himself through piano melodies. He later crossed into the mainstream with “My Dealer” alongside Omah Lay. His catalogue also includes the Another Style EP and the 2024 single “Confirm Parole” with Ajebo Hustlers and Dandizzy.
