Ayox keeps his foot on the pedal with “Happy Face,” a feel-good Afrobeat record built around his smooth vocal.
The Nigerian singer and songwriter has stayed busy through 2026, and this one adds another entry to that run. Ibk Sleek handled the production, while Ayomide Bakare Yanuoluwa is credited on the composition and lyrics.
Ayox records under Yung Music Empire, the same imprint that houses Shoday. He has also linked up with Tekno on “Ashewo Boy” and Rexrie and Big Vybz on “Remember,” so he clearly likes company in the booth.
Here, though, he keeps things light. The verses stay unhurried, the hook opens up just enough, and the rhythm section leaves space instead of crowding him. He never over-sings, and that restraint suits the mood. Fans already know him for melody, but this softer touch hits differently.
