Nigerian Afro-fusion singer BNXN has released “Deliberate Work,” a new record lifted from his six-track EP Still In Charge. The song arrives through T.Y.E. and EMPIRE, the imprint behind his recent body of work.
Still In Charge carries six tracks, and “Deliberate Work” holds the fourth slot. It follows “Eja Meja,” “Online” and “16,” while “Shamaya” pairs him with FOLA. BNXN wrote and delivers the record himself, so the writing stays close to his own pen.
That independence matters because BNXN built his name on features before he built it on solo records. He came up under Spaceship Records before launching To Your Ears Entertainment. Along the way he traded verses with ASAKE and others across the Afrobeats and Afro-fusion lanes.
His catalogue keeps widening too. CAPTAIN landed in 2025, while Sincerely, Benson carried a softer R&B leaning. Still In Charge sits somewhere between those two poles, and “Deliberate Work” leans into melody over clutter.
Records like this remind you that consistency is its own kind of statement. Stream “Deliberate Work” and tell us whether it earned a spot on your playlist.
