GUBI G and Ntwanantu link up on a fresh new record called “Emlanjeni,” pulling four more voices into the mix. The Amapiano single also features Ntwanantu Bhudescar, Ntax Mu6ique, Infinite Motion, and EMJAYKEYZ. It arrived on digital platforms after a late-night premiere, with Africori handling global distribution.
The title comes from a Zulu expression meaning “at the river,” which gives the release some cultural grounding. Six contributors share one production here, so the vocal load gets spread wide instead of resting on one shoulder. That choice shapes how the song moves.
GUBI G has been building steadily within South Africa’s Amapiano scene. He previously worked with T-Man SA on records like “Mdali,” alongside LastButton, so collaborating is clearly his comfort zone. The demand around him keeps growing, and this lineup reflects that pull.
Vocally, the featured artists trade lines over deep log drums, ambient keys, and syncopated percussion. The melodic piano work sits underneath the club influences, while each voice gets a moment to breathe. It runs just over seven minutes, so nobody feels rushed.
