Logos Olori keeps his foot on the pedal with “Big Python,” a record tucked inside his second EP, QUALIA. The Nigerian Afropop singer carries this one alone, so there is no guest verse to lean on here.
QUALIA houses six tracks, and the project lands on September 18th. “Big Python” sits second on the running order, right before “Awade,” his collaboration with L Boi. That placement says plenty about how he wants the EP to unfold.
What catches the ear first is the writing. Logos Olori writes like someone who has studied melody for years, because he has. He co-wrote “Unavailable” for Davido, a credit that travels far beyond Ajegunle, where he grew up.
His debut EP, OLORI, crossed 900,000 plays on Audiomack. So demand for new material has been building quietly since then.
On this one, the vocals stay relaxed while the production does the heavy lifting underneath. Nothing rushes. The song breathes, and that patience suits him.
