Lovn and Ayanfe link up on a fresh new record called “Over The Night,” a smooth Afrofusion cut. It runs four minutes and fourteen seconds, making it one of the longer tracks in Lovn’s recent batch. The song also sits on his SoundBender body of work, which landed under Mavin Records.
Ayanfe brings his melodic style here, while Lovn leans into the Afrofusion side he keeps building. The pairing works because both artists stay within their lane without crowding each other. Lovn, born Akinloye Charles Temidayo, has roots in fuji and apala. That background shapes how he bends tradition into polished Afrobeats.
He dropped his debut project, “This Is LOVN,” back in 2022. Since then, he has kept his output steady rather than chasing one sound. Signing to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records also put him in rooms with Ayra Starr and other label mates. “Over The Night” fits that same experimental streak.
