Lovn and Amaeya link up on a fresh new record called “DON’T LEAVE ME,” a collaboration built on emotional honesty. The song arrives as part of Lovn’s SOUNDBENDER project, which is out now on all digital platforms. Amaeya joins him on vocals, while the video was directed by Obiora Okoli. No producers or writers were named alongside the track.
On it, Lovn leans into his Afrofusion side, and his melodic approach keeps things intimate. He never crowds the song. Amaeya answers with a soulful presence that shifts the temperature whenever she appears.
Lovn, real name Akinloye Charles Temidayo, is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. He also goes by Soundbender, and his sound pulls from fuji and apala. That blend sits alongside polished Afrobeats. His 2022 debut EP, “This Is LOVN,” introduced that style across five tracks.
Pairing him with Amaeya makes sense because both singers favour restraint over volume. The song needs that. A loud arrangement would bury a lyric this personal.
