Samad keeps pulling from the same well of street energy that shaped his recent run, and “Lagos” is his latest drop. The record lands as a single under Samad Music Worldwide, and it also carries a feature from Bella Shmurda.
Two voices ride the same city anthem here. Samad handles his lines with a relaxed delivery, while Bella Shmurda brings his own street-rooted presence to the track. Lagos itself needs no introduction, so the song leans on rhythm instead of over-explaining the mood.
Samad is a young Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper and performer. He has also built a following as a comedian. Several singles sit in his catalog, including “Ogologo,” “JET,” “Born Winner” and “NOBODY,” so the work rate is clear.
Pairing with Bella Shmurda makes sense for where Samad is right now. The collaboration puts him in front of a wider street-music audience without forcing a new sound. It feels like a natural step rather than a stretch.
