Tml Vibez keeps his solo streak alive with “Close To You,” a lean cut from his new body of work. It arrives as part of A Street Kid’s Diary (Disc 2), the 16-track album that continues the diary-style run he began with the first instalment. No guest appears here, so the record rests entirely on his own pen.
On the tracklist, “Close To You” sits after “Allow Me” and just before “Eko.” That middle placement keeps the solo stretch unbroken for anyone playing the project front to back. He works under the Vibez Inc. imprint, the label that has carried his catalogue from the Timileyin era onward.
His path into street-pop started early, with Wizkid among the sounds that shaped him. Because of that grounding, the lane he occupies now feels earned rather than borrowed. He stays inside it here, and the runtime runs short at just over two minutes.
What hits first is the restraint. No clutter, no stacked features, just his voice carrying the weight. For an artist still building his catalogue, a solo entry like this says plenty about how he trusts the material.
