TML Vibez goes solo on “Mashè,” a melodic street-pop record lifted from his project A Street Kid’s Diary (Disc 2).
The track carries no guest verse. It is just him, his pen and that street-pop pocket he has made his own. Several songs on the album come with features, yet this one strips all of that away.
That choice puts everything on his vocals. With nobody to trade lines with, the melody has to hold the listener alone. The writing carries weight too, because no feature breaks up the run.
TML Vibez came up in the Nigerian Afrobeats scene and records under Vibez Inc, the imprint linked to Seyi Vibez. His catalogue keeps growing, from the Timileyin EP to later projects like Sunita.
A solo cut in the middle of a feature-heavy tracklist says something about confidence. He is not hiding behind anyone here. Instead, the structure gives him room to stretch his delivery.
