Way Kay taps Omit ST and Justin99 for a fresh Amapiano record called “Groove Guitar.” The track arrives as part of Way Kay’s new EP, Woza Way Kay, and it lands right in the middle of a busy stretch for the producer.
The single was released on October 8, 2026, and distributed globally through Africori. Guitar melodies carry the arrangement, while deep log drums and layered percussion keep things moving underneath. The private school piano influence is audible too, yet the strings never get buried.
Way Kay has been building steadily on the production side, with releases like “Body Jwala” and a festive banger alongside Nicco NK. Omit ST brings a multi-genre background to the table. Justin99, however, is the familiar Amapiano name here, known for “Ke WAV” and “Gilikidi.”
What works is the restraint. Nobody overcrowds the beat. The guitar lines get room to breathe, and the rhythm section supports rather than smothers them. It feels like a producer’s record first, which suits Way Kay fine.
