Young Jonn keeps his momentum rolling with “Shege,” which is another solo cut taken from his Dear London EP. The record lands as track three on the seven-song project, which arrived through Chocolate City Music on September 25, 2026.
He carries the whole EP alone, so no guest appears beside him here. Instead, his pen and melody do the heavy lifting over a smooth Afrobeats groove. The production stays uncluttered, giving his voice space to breathe.
Based in Lagos and originally from Akwa Ibom, Young Jonn built his name first as a producer before stepping fully into the booth. He was signed to YBNL earlier in his career, and his debut album Jiggy Forever featured Blaqbonez and Don Jazzy. Now he records under Chocolate City Music.
“Shege” makes sense sitting inside this current run. He has been steadily releasing music, including the Elumelu single and the Blue Disco EP, so a mellow solo track fits the pattern. It suits a slow evening or a long drive, yet still carries a bounce underneath.
