Zoro has steadily repped southeastern Nigeria in rap for years, and his new single “Settings” keeps that same energy.
The song is a standalone single, so there is no album tracklist behind it. No feature appears either, because Zoro holds the whole record alone. Production credits came from Izzy and MAsTerKraft, while KLモM helped with the writing.
Igbo lyrics carry the track, and his delivery stays quick and grounded. That approach has followed him since his early days in Enugu. He also helped form Notyme Records with his old friend Slim Brown. The imprint gave him a base to build from.
He was born Owoh Chimaobi Chrismathner in Onitsha, Anambra State. Over time, he has become one of the voices pushing indigenous rap into wider conversation. “Settings” fits that same lane without chasing a different crowd.
Records like this matter because they keep local language inside mainstream hip-hop. Not every release needs a big feature or a chart push to earn attention. Stream Zoro – Settings and drop your thoughts in the comment section below.
