Khalil Harrison links up with a stacked Amapiano cast on his new single, and he calls it “Mthangala.”
The single lands alongside his WEEKND project, which arrives on October 8, 2026. It also carries a four-track EP rollout, and the tracklist has been teased online for days.
The lineup runs deep: Mellow & Sleazy, LeeMcKrazy, Optimist Music ZA, Ch’cco, Ceeka RSA, and Fakewell all appear. Khalil Harrison leads the boards, while Ceeka RSA and Mellow & Sleazy shape the groove.
That Bacardi-inspired log drum pattern is the spine here. It hits hard, then leaves room for layered vocals. LeeMcKrazy and Ch’cco handle most of the vocal weight, so the bass never crowds them out.
Harrison is a South African producer with a growing collaborative streak. His catalogue already includes work with Tyler ICU, DJ Exit, and Diamond Platnumz.
Six minutes of this is a lot to fill, yet the arrangement keeps moving. The groove switches before it wears thin, which is rare for a crowded feature list.
