Mdeshkayro keeps his current run moving with “Onoroko,” a brand new Amapiano link-up featuring Ftears and Mulest Vankay. The South African producer built the buzz himself, sharing teasers from late September that let fans hear the log-drum arrangement early.
Snippets of the track have been doing rounds on TikTok and Facebook, and the performance clips pushed interest further before any wider release. “Onoroko” pulls from Amapiano, Bacardi, and Nkwari, so the record sits right inside the country’s dance music scene.
Mdeshkayro has stayed busy this year. His name appears on the 2SPIN EP alongside Jay Jayy and W4de, and he has worked with Mellow & Sleazy, ShaunMusiQ, and BRB. Mulest Vankay joins him here, while Ftears handles the featured slot.
This one makes sense for where he is right now. He is not chasing a new sound, but leaning harder into the log-drum lane his audience already responds to. Bacardi and Nkwari influences also give the track a regional flavour that travels well on dance floors.
