Usimamane keeps his run going and pulls Blxckie in for a new single called “Press.”
The track is the first official record the two Durban rappers have made together. Herc Cut The Lights handled the beat, while gamma. Africa put it out. Usimamane also uses it as the lead single for his upcoming project, TAI LUNG.
That pairing once looked unlikely. The two men had traded words online before, and Usimamane later called it a misunderstanding rather than beef. So the record settles something, even if neither rapper says so outright.
His recent run includes the album 20th: Days Before Maud, plus the G – Wagon Music: Baby Tai EP. Blxckie, meanwhile, keeps showing up wherever the scene needs a verse. Demand for both names stays high.
The writing carries it. Usimamane stays melodic and inward, while Blxckie switches into that quick delivery he does so well. Two different temperaments, one beat, and no wasted bars anywhere.
