Khalil Harrison, Ceeka RSA, Tyler ICU and LeeMcKrazy join forces on “Weeknd”, a log-drum heavy Amapiano record for the dance floor. The four-song WEEKND EP carries it as the title track, and the full version arrives after leaked audio and promo clips had already teased listeners months earlier. LeeMcKrazy takes the lead vocal, while Harrison, Ceeka RSA and Tyler ICU shape the production behind him.
It is a Pretoria-flavoured party chant, quick on its feet and loud in the right places. The October 9, 2026 release follows a rollout that leaned on snippets rather than silence. Fans who caught the early clips finally get the finished cut.
Harrison’s catalogue moves across Amapiano and beyond, from “Agape” to “Baw’Yena” and “Thetha Nabo Mfundisi”. He has also worked with Scotts Maphuma, Al Xapo, DBN Gogo and Mellow & Sleazy, so stacking a lineup like this fits his pattern. Tyler ICU and Ceeka RSA bring their own weight to that mix.
Amapiano keeps proving that the strongest records often come from four names sharing one idea. Stream “Weeknd” and drop your thoughts in the comment section below.
